Default Insurance for a female biker

Can anyone suggest a decent yet cheap insurer for a friend. Age 25 and just passed her test Thursday and is getting a Kwak GPZ500 and i said i would ask on here as we have some female riders. E bike quoted 403 with excess of 200 on a 2002 model and 0 no claims. area is not a great one.....Luton
Will be cool having a shapey young lady as a riding partner and wifey says she understands i want my youth back....

Cheers

I'm with DirectChoice - £160 TPF&T for the 'Blade and SV together. But I'm also an dodgy old un.

I don't think there is anyone for bikes that is the equivalent of Diamond or Shiela's Wheels to be honest.

I'm with e-bike, 29, 3 points, 2 non fault claims 1 fault claim, no garage, only had a licence 18 months and no NCB. £300 FC with £100 excess.

Just make sure she adds any thing like crash bungs, locks and chains and datatool or similiar and the quote comes down about £10 for each thing. Oh and try reducing the excess cos i reduced mine from £200 to £100 and it made no difference on the quote.

Having had both I have to say thats crap. :P

My SV has had 2 hard winters and the only bolt which has rusted was on one of the pipes. In fact it is the Givi rack thats fared the worst out of the last 2 years.

My GPZ was also an all year round commuter and never had any sign of corrosion on that either [and it wasnt a new bike either].
