Is it possible to read emails sent and received using Exchange 2003, or can you just track them?

I thik just track them,
Unless you put a rule on the server that you get a copy of the emails when they come in to the Original recipient

You need to have copies delivered to an alternative mailbox as well. Unless youre using some sort of antispam holdiny mailbox where you review the material before releasing it.

It's also (possibly) against the law, depending on what you are planning on doing with the material.

Unless your company has a nice disclaimer stating the email remains the property of the company and reserve the right to read it.

its a little grey area in the uk (US far more complex), as it was done on company computers, company time, means its can be read. As long as you dont take action on the content of the email thats fine, but if you take action on the fact that they are sending personal emails during company time then ok and also if they are revealing secrets to other companies then ok.
