Leave it until its pretty much all germinated (or as much as its going to), then once the grass seems established possibly a little fertiliser but definitely no weedkiller until its well established.

The Doctor is pretty much on the button there!
I'm thinking about feeding my lawns at work, but that's coz' I've got a state of the art irrigation system and I don't really have to rely on rain. I'd just let it grow till it's about 1.5 - 2" long and then take about 1/4 - 1/3 off with your mower (or if bored use a pair of nail scissors) - even better get yourself a cylinder mower Much better for your lawn!!! |
