Default New job

Just had to tell someone as I am waiting until Tuesday to hand my notice in - but I have a new job! First time I have left somewhere to work somewhere else without a gap in between too, so its going to be strange! The job is a bit of a stretch, I am primarily a second line/desktop support monkey, but this new role is to run the whole of the IT for a 150 person, 70 user company! My official title will be IT Manager, which is nice! Nice salary increase too - finally it feels like my career is going somewhere! Yay me!

Sorry for the post, I am just well excited!

Congratulations in your new job matey.

I'm technically working 3rd line IT support, but DB not desktop. Don't suppose you want to offer any supervisory roles?

Good work!

I work in a similar role for an ISP. (I have a small team of 5 girls that I look after in customer services).

Someone has to do it I suppose!

That leads me to possibly two questions:
1) Are any of them fit?
2) If the answer above includes any form of 'yes', when do you start your new job, and where do I send the application form off to?

Yes, I know I'm shallow, deal with it, I have

Thanks - beers would be on me, but as its the first nice day of weather we have had for weeks, I am going to take a mate to pick up his new FZ1 Fazer and stick 150 miles on my bike to celebrate!

Yep. I would say 4 out of the five. But I'm not that shallow honest!!

Here are a few of them amongst the rest of some colleagues. It was fancy dress for Children In Need.

I'm up for a job swap! Could be fun!
