Default Renegade

Currently on a Standard Factory Fit Exhaust, pretty much sold on the Renegade slip on low level in stainless steel round exhaust (cause its the cheapest of their products) idea but just want some confirmation from some Renegade users that Renegade is the one to go for. I am going to take it to their workshop and get them to fit me one for £225.

Thoughts ? !

Cheers

H

Its not the cheapest, but 100% up there with the top of the range stuff, plus you get the Jorge experience

The thing that Renegade have over nearly all the otheres, is that in the event of a spill, you can replace just the parts you damage, and not the whole can.

You wont regret it i can tell ya.

They do a FULLY road leagl version, or one with removable baffle.

They sound like nothing else mate.

Imagine a Lancaster bomber flying through the Dartford Tunnel

As Viney said (and he should know ) you will not be disappointed. I had twin hi-level carbons on my curvy and they were awesome. The service that you get from Jorge is excellent - last time I was there we ended up having a chinese meal on picnic tables in the workshop!

Dude, ANY can will sound better than the stock can. However, you do get what you pay for. The renegade systems are modular. As in, if you wnat a high level, then you just buy a high level pipe when funds allow. If you wanted to go for a twin system, then you just buy the bits for that. In terns of build quality, i dont think that you will find anything better, equal, but not better.

I am slightly biased, as Jorge is a good friend, but thats only over the years of actually using his product(s), but he will gladly tell you, that i walked into his factory 5 years a go, a total cynic about all this can malarky with a blue flame system. He will also tell you that if i dont think something works, then i wont boast about it.

All thier single cans on the SV will sound very similar. Its when you go for the twins, that things change. In all honesty, you wont regret it.

I was toying with the idea of a Scorpion Carbon can for my K6 pointy but after reading the comments above I have now been hurled head first back into the confusion pit.
Any comments on the Renegade against a Scorpion????
BTW. Pros for the Scorpion for me are:
Lifetime guarantee.
Carbon is £225.
I have heard a Scorpion and liked it - not heard a Renegade.
If damaged in a spill then a replacement at half price.

Jorge also offers a lifetime guarantee (HIS lifetime )

He can also supply all components seperately which might work out cheaper than replacing a whole can even at half price - e.g. if just the sleeve needs replacing then why pay for a whole can.

If anything I would say the renegade can is a bit deeper than a scorpion (mind you I am partially deaf )
