I know I shouldn't, but I keep thinking of the 'Evil Dead': "Bad hand, naughty hand."
 Must be really hard to come to terms with psychologically though. At least with phantom responses to a severed limb or something you can look and deal with it's absence I guess. Plus there's a far greater wealth of experience and support out there. But looking into a mirror and seeing someone elses face - as in a totally different person rather than some cosmetic change you've wanted - that's gotta be a harsh reality. Then with something so, um, 'personal' - lets face it - men have enough hang-ups about that area of their body as it is.
