Passport fee going up
I can usually rely on the site to keep my whole life up to date.
Well passport fess go up quite substantially on Thursday so tomorrows the last day to post your application. |

 Bugger! I was going to renew mine before the price went up. Completely forgot, and it takes me about a week to fill in the form...

put mine and my sons passport for renewale in the post on Friday as the prices are going up by .... LOADS.....
33% I think....

Currently £51 at the moment, going to £66 on Thursday. I applied for mine yesterday. No interviews. Only possibly for 1st timers.

The increased fee is no doubt levied to coincide with the mandatory iris scans and fingerprinting that Big Brother is introducing on 5 October.

You can use the post office's check & send service for half the price of the increase today and tomorrow.
