SV650 - market for the stock exhaust ?
I'm replacing the stock item with a full system so wanted to know if there's a market for the stock item. It'll have done around 700 miles when it's removed.
I'd like at least £100 for it but will store it and refit it when selling the bike if there's no market for it. |

Can't get rid of the things... though you might do better as you have a full uncut one.

I've seen Steve Jordans sell them complete with no miles for £35. You're best off keeping it really.

I sold mine for $60(US). Found a guy on craigslist.com that needed it to repair his. I dont know if Craigslist does the UK but you could give it a shot.

It has very little monetary value, but will be invaluable should you need an MOT, and can be an important part of selling the bike.

Keep it as you might regret not having it one day, The stealth of the standard exhaust has it's advantages. After all it's only about the noise there is very little or no advantage otherwise
