I've just got 12 months anti virus from a link on miscorsoft's site for free. Hooray!
If you're worried, pop along there & get the free anti-virus package, download the latest updates & run it. Don't need credit card details or any other personally identifiable info. http://www.microsoft.com/athome/secu...s/default.mspx |

For friends and family I use avast home. free for non commercial use.
I also use antivir on my linux boxes but there is a windoze version, again free. I fell out with AVG a long time ago. For home/work use I have Mcaffee, but as we have a corporate licence the cost is not an issue.
