why do stupid cage drivers insist on driving with only there STUPID side lights on, in the dark and while it's foggy !!!

why do car makers still put them on cars!!! side lights are no good for anything!!!

parking lights - yes, main beam - yes, but side lights are cr@p and not needed.

IMO anyway

At least he had his sidelights on, i saw two drivers with no lilghts on at all, in the fog, that you couldnt see further than 2 meters in. Bloody idiots.

All new bikes have to have diped lights on at all times when the ignition is on, why dont all new cars?

On my 1 hour drive in to work on motorways as well, still dark and in the fog, there was quite a few without lights on and loads with only sidelights.

Just madness I tell you!

You'll love to hear this then. Actual conversation somones had with a car driver who was driving with only their sidelights on in the dark.
Biker: Mate, how do you expect others to see you if you dont put your lights on properly?
Cager: I only switch the lights on so i can see my dashboard instruments. Streets are well lit enough for me to see where i'm going.

All true.

But i agree with new cars having dusk activavted lights, that way noone can take the above attitude. Ambient light drops below a certain level and cars lights come on automaticaly, no sidelights option that way. MAybe a seperate switch for "parking lights" but only for countries where prople need/use them.

Personally, I think automaticsuperdupersafetywhatchamacallits are making things worse. People just don't think for themselves anymore.
