Awesome, I'll be seeing them on the 19th Nov in London. Saw them earlier this year but can't wait to see them again. Along with a couple of the other bands that are playing too.

If you like guitar solo's and technical fast guitar work then definately watch Children of Bodom- saw them this feb and they were insane- the lead guitarist and the keyboardist are always duelling, trying to out-play each other.
I saw In Flames at download, and that was fairly brutal (being down in the pits) nice and heavy though! And as for Lamb of God, and Thine Eyes Bleed; I wouldn't really know because I haven't heard too much of there stuff before...

Children of Bodom are incredible. Alexi Laiho is one of the best lead guitarists in the world and sings at the same time! In Flames were incredibly good, but I am liking them less and less recently. They will still put on a good show though. Lamb of God don't interest me really. Have fun, I might be going to this in Birmingham show!

This is all a tad modern for me, Iron Maiden (the year that Bruce joined on vocal) performing a duet playing 'Tush' with Ricky Medlocks Blackfoot headlining Reading Rock back in 82, now that was something else. Oh and ZZ Top at Donnington Monsters of Rock in 85 is a close second.

I had a yard of hair back then. Now I guess I'm just a fusty old giffer.... who likes riding his bike

Let me know how they do. I saw them many times in the eighties and they always put on a fantastic show. Thinking a tad more the best performer I remember seeing was Robert Plants Manic Nirvana tour, he had the wonderful Alannah Myles supporting

I saw Maiden last year at Reading Festival, they were only only playing stuff from I think it was there first four albums. Was really good, even if I was surrounded by large, topless, sweaty, middle-aged blokes!!!
