Hi mate

Look for 600cc diversions. Cheap as chips, really easy to work on, economical and spares are very readily available. I got my last divvy for £400....heated grips, tax, mot, faired, hpi clear, 32k on the clock, scottoiler, everything spot on....for £400.

Very underrated. Check ebay and snipe.

Specifics.... do you care about how it looks? are you after a cheap hack where you dont care if it goes over on ice?

If thats the case have a CBR600 which is mechanically sound but does need some tlc [basically time/money this year has gone on the SV rather than getting that up and running. And certainly would be well less than £300 asking price.

I had one. Don't go for anything older than about 95. The signal generator had a design flaw on the early ones whereby they commonly lost their magnets which then ate the stator. Apparently water pumps were a problem too, but mine didn't work for long enough to break it.

that was my first big bike in 1992! there good but rot fast and rattle alot too. kawasaki down pipes are made of plastic and melt when they touch fresh air.
