whats the verdict? I get it every week, but i do find it amusing the way everything is 'targeting bikers' hehe.

It's occassionally useful and interesting, but mostly it seems to me like a sort of biker's Daily Mail

i think people buy it more when they don't have a bike! just to get that 'dose' of motorbikes.

Crap, cack and ****e.

Well, most of the time. Occasionaly it has some good stuff in it. I dont buy it, my dad does. I refuse to!

I prefered it about 7-10 years ago. It was better then, and the racing reports where better too.

Its more like a tabloid now, sort of a "The Sun" or "The Mirror" but for bikes.

Definitely in the More Crap than News brigade here.

I recall a recent article on chains and this was discussed on another forum by someone who tests chains and pointed out the inaccuracies of their "tests". They suggested one brand took longer to cut than this guy has managed - but I guess we can summise which lock manufacturer subbed the journos that week :P They also omitted to mention that they didnt actually apply the same test to all chains - in fact one chain couldnt be broken as their test result suggested but only if they had hammered it against an anvil. So frankly I question not only their "news" but actually their test results.

Can we run a book on which week of 2007 they will print their first "biking to be killed off" headline and what its going to be out of Eurocrats/mad Swedes/police & exhausts/harder tests for new riders... ? :P
