Default Pair of carbs - got some now ta

After some re-jetting work (which hasn't gone too well if I'm honest ), I've come across a few problems (also known as I've broken a few bits ) and thought it best if I someone had a complete pair of carbs so I can get things fully sorted, then I'll have spares too should I fancy say a 700cc bore in the future.

Hope comeone can assist.

I'd spied those, but was kinda after a set quicker if poss. Them ones don't end for a week yet.

Then I've got to rely on my (lack of) bidding skills on top

I'll keep me eye on those though.

Yup 1 carb heater nackered, and the slides are a little damaged where the needles locate as the needles don't seem to sit "straight" in the slides, thems only bits I need as a deffinite.

In amongst the bits SoulKiss picked up from me the other day was a complete set of carb heaters for a curvy SV. He may be willing to part with them for a few beer tokens.

I've had the same problem with the slides in the past and in most cases pulling the whole lot to bits and starting again has solved it. Did have to replace a caarb slide once when I brok off one of the four tabs that grip the plug on the rear of the needle. Suzuki only charged me 28 quid - Thieving gits - and it didn't even include the rubber surround either.

Cheers for that, exactly what I think I've done (breaking one of those plastic grip thingy bits).

I'll drop SoulKiss a pm and see what the crack is. Think them carb heaters are about £30 a pop from Mr Suzuki too, a right rip off!!!

Good news though, now got a pair of carbs from your friendly local Viney. Still going to follow up on the carb heaters though, seeing as how easily I broke that last one.
