Default Most unsuitable winter hack

Fella in work has a cbr600rr, turns up with his hack...........

an xjr1300 .......... the heartless bastid!

Imagine how light it will be come march with all that metal work flaked and furred and rusted off.

Was at a bike auction earlier in the week.

A 1998 50000mile Blackbird went through for £1600.
Still looked like the day it left the factory too. The thought did cross my mind as to whether i could use it instead of the sv this winter!!

Mega novelty value in having a Blackbird winter bike!!

There's a bloke in Glasgow that uses a CBR600RR as his commuter (well it sits outsde work offices everyday anyway). Always bogging.

A guy at work has a thunderace as a winter hack, muffs, panniers and furry forks. It's third winter and it looks it.

I've just switched from a GSXR600 all year round bike to a FJR1300.....

I've removed the panniers for commuting

Ive just bought a Kawasaki Er-500 for my winter hack, didn't cost a lot, and goes OK ish. all i need now is a rack and top box
