next year i will be moving out into a house my dad is purchasing, he is going to pay the morgage but me and a few others are going to have to do the house bills
if its not infriding to much on your personal business would a few people mind specifying 1. how many are in the family 2. what size house are you in 3. a rought breakdown of bills, (food excluded) |

Might be a bit easier if you told us a bit more about the house (age, rooms, etc) and occupants so we could give you a better idea of what to expect.
Things you'll have to consider are : Council Tax Water Gas Electricity Telephone / Mobile Cable / Sky Home Contents Insurance Buildings Insurance Annual service for heating, etc. TV Licence Repairs / contingency |

Me and my girlfriend rent a flat. Bills aren't too much - for the last quarter, we where charged £24 for electricity (haven't received a gas bill yet). We are with seaboard for both, so we get a little discount for the whole "dual fuel" thing.

Oh yeah, stay away from British Gas at all costs (leccy or gas). They take imcompetence and arrogance to a possibly new level.
