Hello,
There's a bunch of kids that run a site called mtbleeds.co.uk and there's some chat forums on there. There's also dysfunktional dirt. Mainly stuff by under 25s who do downhilling and dirt jumping. I live in Armley and regularly go on rides with one mate. We tend to "freeride", i.e, sometimes we do more extreme downhilling requiring full face helmets and sometimes we just poodle about parks or even do road rides. We're not very fit and don't tend to ride up hills much as we have heavy DH biased bikes (and I have Asthma). What kind of riding do you do? I think there's a proper x-country club running out of Chevin Cycles in Otley. |

but the semi expensive bike int he garage dictates that i should be doing some... plus i enjoy it. I prefer cross country, bomb holing, single track etc... im far from fit and was looking for a regular group meet up i discovered a few months ago and subsequently lost. I don't have a lto fo time for it and a bit of exercise once a week will be better than the none im doing at the moment!! i don't live far from you then.. in down in Farnley.. |

what's the bike? My Kona Stinky full sus is quite hard work for x-country but if you want to join us on our "freeriding" let me know. We've done rides in Bramley falls park and at Post Hill, neither of which are particularly rugged but there are little fun bits to mess around on.

Singletraction is a good website for the area. Never actually made it to a dig or meet but will do later in the year.
Wharncliffe is great for all kinds of riding but a bit wet at this time of year. |
