British passport - how long to get one
Need to renew mine, how long does it take from sending the form (Liverpool office) to getting it back? Anyone know?

I ended up making an appointment to visit the office at Liverpool. They process the application that day. but the new passport arrives in the post 2 days later. you need to already hold a passport

i know its faster and less hastle to renew than to re apply for a new one.

go to the post office give them the form +£5 extra & it takes less than a week

Yep, pay the extra to have it checked and submitted at a Post Office.
We sent off 7 new passports last summer, (me, missis, and 5 assorted kids from 10 to 15 years) they all were back within 2 weeks and most were back in about one week. |
