Default Tis a tad windy

No not me, but the weather. Had to recover all our recyling rubbish (Useless storage boxes have no lids). The wheely bin has gone over and waste blown down road.

Local council when we complain, say "store your waste indoors and put it out just before your fortnightly collection", no thanks.

Still glad I don't have to ride a bike in this weather

Meh, I'd be working from home today if I didn't have to do an install in Cardiff. The bridge is probably not going to be a fun place on a bike.

^ old one is, but you only have to sneeze for them to get worried and close that one. Can't find any mention of the M4 crossing being closed and I just looked on a webcam, not busy but certainly has traffic on it.

Pah, you midland/northern lot dont know what wind is....*goes into when i was a lad mode*

Back in '87 when the south of england was flattened, my wheelybin was found in nearby Surrey, i took my dog for a flight, and Sevenoaks became oak....now that was windy

40mph average windspeed here, gusting to 80mph and I'm still commuting on the bike.

Fair play to my dad though, asking me if I want to borrow his car. He retracted the offer when I asked him his thoughts on filtering in the car.

seriously tho, why would you ride a bike in wind like this? gusting to 80mph? i'm sorry but drive the car. if bike is your only transport, what journey is so important you have to risk you life for? and lets be honest isn't that what you'd be doing
