Default odd wear patteren on front tire

whilst checking my tire pressures i noticed that my front tire has a massive amount of wear on the left side as you look at the front of the bike, yet the right side seems ok. It well beyond its life and im going to order a new tire at the weekend. Any recomendations, I ride every day in all weather and would like it to have a decent life expectancy rather than be one of these super sticky ones which just fall about after a thousand miles value per mile is important to me and im looking at about 80 quid for the tire.

The thing is why is my tire wearing like this. Could it be that the wheel is out of alignment and not ballenced or could it possibly be damaged and bent thus not running true? its not like i only make right turns on my way to and from work and it didnt look anywhere near this bad last time i checked a couple of weeks ago. I havnt had any spills and neither had the previous owner (a friend of mine) and he hadnt had any problems like this. any help is greatly appreciated.

cheers

I've had this before. I put it down to roundabouts and road camber.

They all do that Sir. Over here, it's the right-hand side of the tyre which wears. It's all to do with the distance actually travelled in bends. Allegedly.

My front tyre is the same; although it was the previous owner that made it the shape it is. I, on the toher hand, continue the trend of squaring off the rear tyre

Super cornering beckons when i shed the crappy MEZ4's (i think thats whats on there) and put on something better. And when the warm weather comes. And a few years of riding

thats why i change the fronts..they all do it.
get it changed in my opinion as it can unsettle the balance and has once made my old sv start a right wobble on.
