I thought 17 litres including reserve. If you got 17 litres in without running dry it gives me a lot more confidence about riding well beyond the flashing light ! Lowest I've ever dared to risk only took 13 litres to refill !

Blimey I always fill up at 150 miles , the light normally flashes at 120 & then goes solid at 135
The most I 've put in is 14 litres , so I guess that I have another 30 ish miles left !!! I normally get 50 mpg ( approx 11 miles per litre ) so I guess that gives a max range of 11 * 17 = 187 miles ! Cheers Steve

mine comes on 100-110, and i'm pretty sure i don't drive really aggressively. wouldn't dream of waiting till 150 miles! i **** myself when i filled it at 130 the other day. My hyosung comet could do over 200miles easily. was fantastic!

Now my riding is harder, the light stays solid at around 130, and I've found (to my misfortune) that I can get approx 8 miles before she's drier than a rattlesnake's "tail tidy". Yes I'm faster mid corner etc, but I think it's mainly the fact that on occasion, I'll do "silly" speeds in 4th gear. Also, my revs through all gears are higher, so no surprise that I'm burning more of the good stuff ![]() |
