Knackered Speedo Drive - Pointy - SV650.org

Ok,

So during more of my DIY antics I have managed to not line up the speedo drive with the front wheel properly. Oops!

This meant when I tightened up the front wheel I crushed the plastic piece which interlocks with the keys on the wheel. This part removes from the speedo drive.

Does anybody know if this can be bought seperately or whether I would need to order a complete speedo sensor assembly.

Anybody got a apare one?

Yes, I will do.

Can anyone tell me if the plastic part of the speedo sensor can be got seperately or if I need to get the whole thing, cable and all?

I am hoping you can as it removes from the speedo drive housing.

Ok,

I managed to get one mail order this morning.

In answer to the question you can get this seperately £8.35+VAT+Postage.

Phew! I thought I was going to get stung for a whole speedo sender for £80 or something.
