Default stupid question of the week!

ok so ive bought myself an sv, a rather tasty one from dirtydog (no northwind i dont want to sell the jmc )
but battery died this mornin propper dead too!
problem ive got is how do you get seat off to get to the battery?
i know its stupid as ive had plenty of bikes but just aint figured it, (or not looked propperly!)

remove the 2 black plastic side thingys & there is a bolt each side

Haynes or workshop manual, until you have one I can't use RTFM on ya

i know im a very chuffed bunny!
its loud,angry and rather anti-social, jus the way i like my bikes to be!
reckon am gona paint orange anarchy sign ont sides of the tank,
for now then.......... we will see

Don't worry mate that did me aswell!

Obvious place for the battery is under the seat...but i was hoping for a lazier way to get at it
