Default Fitting Front fender extender

Do I have to take the front wheel off for this??

Was looking at doing it & had hope to just take of the fender, but looking at Mr Haynes, can't see a way of doign this without removing the wheel.

If I do, do I need a front paddock stand (this is why I haven't). Allready got a rear on, but not a front. Or is there another cunnign way of doing it without one??

No, you don't need to take the front wheel off, so you don't need a front stand. Just undo the obvious bolts on either side, and the screws which are quite fiddly and must be undone from the inside. Then lift and slide the fender carefully forwards, it only has to flex a tiny amount to fit through.

I fitted mine while it was on the bike. Used Araldite rather than the screws mind.

Fitted mine with some of this.......

....still stuck on after nearly 2 years.

Did give it 48 hours to cure fully though.

i used self tappers and put a blob of clear varnish on the screw heads to stop rusting.
