Default GSXR 400

Does anyone know anything about these?

If so what do you think of this http://www.gumtree.com/london/01/7654601.html?

I don't know anything specific to the GSXR400,but if you want one bear in mind that bike is 19 years old so take a very hard look at every bit of it before you buy.And never pay the asking price.

They're getting rare so spares can be an issue, the popular model was the GK76 with the USD forks.
Those older models I've only ever seen one and it was ridden by my neighbour, she said it was a good bike and had no issues.

looks in good nick, but at the end of the day its 20 years old. parts may be a problem, i guess it would be ok as a second bike but IMO you could get somthing better for the same money.

If you wanted a 400 I'd get a Honda. Parts are easier to source, and bikes are generally more reliable.

I really want a CBR400 or ZXR400 to fiddle with/fix up and eventually use as a track bike, crash and fix again. Although hopefully not that last part.
