Default Dynos in kent?

Hi guys & girls,

I'm looking at getting my bike Dyno'd just to see how she's running, I think I’m right in thinking that some Dyno machines/operators are better or more accurate than others, so I’m after decent ones in Kent. After a quick use of the search I found HM racing & powerhouse motorcycles, just wondering if anyone else can recommend dyno testers in Kent

Cheers,

Gaz.

HM Racing Orpington 01689 856595
Powerhouse MC's Ashford 01233 665520

Both run Dynojet Dynos.

Having a bike dynoed for power is a waste of time. To have it done to set the bike up after mods is sensible

Steve jordan motorcycles on 01372453322.

They have a new dynapro dyno that is highly accurate. If you use a place with a dynojet dyno expect the reading you get to be about 5hp more than your bike has actually got!!

£25 for a straight forward power run and £80 for a custom set up( IIRC) without the need for a powercommander

Cheers guys,

Well the reason i'm looking at getting mine dyno'd is because the chap who had the bike before me put a K&N air filter & a scorpion can on it, & it feels a bit flat through some of the rev range so wanna make sure everthing was done properly & it's all running ok.

P.S: soz, i meant to put this thread in the SV tuning & tweaking section

My experience of powerhouse is not good. For dynos around Ashford I would recommend Tagg Racing. Very very good and competent guys and very reasonably priced on all their work.

Not had much to do with Powerhouse, but when I have popped in they do seem far from proffesional & helpfull.

(Don't know Tagg)

Let us know in case I ever want to do this.

I could be wrong....but I think the bike shop just inside Brands Hatch do dyno's. You could try giving them a call and asking.

Do you mean Renegade just down the road from brands? I believe they sold up and moved to Portugal?
