Default And yet another puzzle

Sorry Hovi5

OK, so...

The following sentence is false. The preceding sentence is true. Are these sentences true or false?

The second line makes the 1st bit false, making it say the next one is true. So both True

Why do we have to evaluate them as a pair? Only one is true.

If a philosopher tells you that it's ok to lie, why do you not question whether he is lying?

If the second makes the first false, that would mean that the second sentence is actually true. If the second is true, that means that the first is true. If the first is true, that means the second is false.

Wait a minute...

The liar paradox, people have written books about this.

Should make for an interesting thread.
However, rather than suggest a soloution, I am going to carry on with my post-it note which has p.t.o. written on both sides instead.

The first sentence "Sorry Hovi5" is obviously false cos why would anyone apologise to Hovi5?

the second sentence "OK so..." doesn't make any sense so who cares whether it is true or false...

...oh dear

Hang on, if the 1st sentence is correct and the 2nd sentence is false that means the 1st sentence is false so the 2nd sentence must be true but...

Aah, Paradox. my brain is going to explode!!!
