So what do you listen to when fettling your bike/car?
This evening I've been listening to Bullet For My Valentine's 3rd album, Fever. I'm not normally a metally rock fan but this gets the sockets spinning nicely: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ThPQepODHOA What's your current garage theme tune/album? I've got my complete coillection on a spare PC in the garage hooked up to a 2nd hand amp & speakers
400 albums in Mp3 format, on radom play on media player. So anything from Abba (wifes collection) to ZZ Top Saxon 'Wheels of steel' came round the other day, oh happy days Although usually I'll have a Springsteen playlist set up I did have a radom Klaus Wunderlich track start playing, again the wifes music. Now deleted ![]()

I plug my MP3 player into am old radio cassette thing from the early 90's when I am in the garage, that gives me allof my lovely chill out tunes of Slayer, Burzum and Marduk for example. When the battery dies on the MP3, I dig out my old tapes and listen to 80's dark wave and Goth, Siouxsie, Joy Division, Killing Joke to name just a few.
I have recently taken to the Tiger Lillies, but it makes fixing the bike hard, because the words are very darkly funny. |

Whats on the ipod (Muse, Elbow, George Formby) is pumped through a dock but I'm on the back garden (under a tarp in the rain) with kids in all the surrounding gardens so when when any GLC or non radio edits come on I have to dive for the remote.
I long for a garage, my man space is restricted to the out house (dryer, freezer, fridge & a workbench) but at least the ipod drowns out the tumbler. Love to listen to owt when I'm pottering about the kitchen making the home brew (aye). ![]() Last edited by Fruity-ya-ya; 07-05-10 at 09:31 PM. |

What I wanted to really know was which song/album ups your work rate? I need some (youtube or similar) examples to motivate me!

The Damned, Elgar, Radio 4.
Mostly.
