Food poisoning?

Alternatively, try going for a few runs & do a few sit ups. A stone's going to be nigh-on impossible to lose but you may be able to tone up a bit.

I have to ask - what will you be wearing?! Oh, and this thread will probablybe worthless without photos...! ;o)

A general rule i heard was that a pound in weight lost is a defecit of 3500 calories. roughly....so to lose a stone you need to use up 52,000 calories more than you consume. this is either through exercise or eating less. beware though if you cut down on too much food your body actually will shut down to the point where it doesnt burn the food you eat it just stores it making things counterproductive.

I currently losing wight and have managed a little over a stone since new year. got quite a bit to go mind

Loosing a stone in a week could be very dangerous; i cant think of a safe way to use those 52,000 calories (quote: chunkytfg).

I say dont try and loose the weight, but dress apropriatly! Everyone looks good if they dress well and smile

The missus and I went on the 'cabbage soup diet for a week - she lost three pounds, I lost a stone!! You can flavour the soup quite cunningly...but it's hard work. The recipe etc might be on google I guess...
