Default Days llike this ......

So I have worked 22days solid, and today is my first day off. And I am grumpy! What is it all about. I finally get a day off and I can't be ar*ed to do anything, but I want to do something. The house is a tip, the garden is covered in dog sh*t, my kids are full of beans and the dog is looking at me with puppy dog eyes. But I am not interested. Why does the mind have to do this to us? Or is it just me.

I am frustrated doing nothing, but what should I do. I know a bit of fresh air would help, but its too bl**dy cold out. Oh and now its raining, not proper rain....just crappy drizzle. Even if I could I don't think I even want to go out on the bike

The kids keep leaving the stuffin doors open, have I really turned into 'WHY AM I HEATING THE STREET?'

Even Johnathon Ross is bugging me this morning.

Can anyone help me get my ar*e into gear and enjoy my day off? Before I REALLy turn

Take a nap or have a rest with your feet up. You must be mentally and physically exhausted after those days of work. It's frustrating knowing there are things to be done but I just clear them out of my mind and chill with some music.

Yeah, I can't wait until summer either.

Send the kids out to the garden to clear the dog-do ... tell them if it is not clear by tea-time that they don't eat ...

Whilst they are doing that, put some music on ... take a nice hot soapy bath and rub yourself profusely ... ... you will feel all warm 'satisfied' and relaxed ... and where they have been working hard in the meantime - you will have a nice clear garden and some kids that are too shattered to cause any grief ... they may be covered head to toe in dog-do at this point, but you really - really will not care!! ...

Well, I have been dragged out cos of my cards. First to JTF Wholesale and then to Makro. Wife/daughters are planning the catering for grandsons christening bash, as if I am interested. So its "lets get this now and I need to check the price of that". GBH of the wallet. All for some b'stards b'stard

Just bitched loudly everytime I saw a biker playing out in the sunshine

well dragged my lazy grumpy ar*e out the house and took the kids to an indoor roller blading place..... and had fun!! hurray!

Have hurt my wrist though, was laughing so much at my son falling over in style, that I went down, at speed! Never mind, I feel better then I did a couple of hours ago!

Really didn't want to go, only went under pressure of a promise, and am glad I did now!

Kids now at their dads and I have finally got the peace and quiet that I really wanted in the first place
