Good morning.
That Exorcist vomit green stuff is probably the original coolant. Coolant should be changed every two years or 12000 miles. Don't bother with the expensive premixed stuff at around a fiver a litre, just get a good quality anti freeze which is suitable for alloy engines. (I think they all are these days). & mix it 50/50 with distilled water, (NOT tap water). You'll need around a total of 2.5 litres to for a coolant change if you include doing the expansion bottle, (which you should). Cheers. |
