Look like there are rumours that 'Gas guzzlers' road tax will rase form £210 to over £400 in this weekes budget!!

like that is gonna save or even change anything....

introducing higher road tax won't make public transport better so that people don't have to use their own method of transport

and what will happen to people that live in rural areas? is Mr Brown going to carry them on his back up the country road?

Lol true. We pick up our new 4x4 tomorrow can't wait, for the type of use this car will get, a 4x4 seemed the only sensible choice for us, but then at least we will be using it for what it is meant for and not just for taking the kids to school or going to the supermarket like a lot of them .

I hate 4x4s, but this tax is a discrace. Anyone with a single functioning brain cell (so noone who's an 'environmentalist' then) can see this is just a thinly vieled method of extracting more money out of people for no good reason.
