Default Is my licence correct???

Is my licence wrong???

My paper licence only has me listed with a BE and GH (can drive a car or milk float) but my card licence has me with my A bike licence plus the rest. Which is correct? IN the eyes of the DVLA?

I'm planning to send off the paper form soon to have all my 6 points removed (after a five year wait). My concern is that if I send off both parts they'll both arrive back with no A licence. If this does happen then what is the deal? I have no way of proving my licence status.

Anyone had the problem of disappearing licence category?

Cheers....

Neil

I think the paper license only shows your provisional entitlements, whereas your card license shows what you are actually licensed to drive / ride.

I expect if you google for the DVLA website it'll have some info on there about it.

I did here a while ago of people's bike entitlement 'disappearing' from their license. Not sure why you have it on one and not the other though, if your license had to be amended for any reason the DVLA always want to see both parts.

Hopefully you will still have your pass certificate from your bike test, then it should be difficult to sort out.
