I need new front pads in the bike and was wondering how easy they are to change, and how likely the job is to go wrong (ie I know the back pads can be a git to do).
If there is a reasonable chance they I'm going to end up being stranded then I'll just pay the gagage to do them - everyday I use the car instead of the bike it costs me an extra 15 quid in fuel, so the bike being sidelined soon makes it expensive... TIA, Stu |

The only problems i've come across when just changing the pads is the retrianing pin being a right sod to get put and also the calipers actually seizing onto the mounting brackets (inside the rubber booots on the mounting bracket) i nkniow thats nothing to do with the pads but might be worth checking whilst they're off
