Selling the bike so had the bike restricted.
It felt ok but my god it is lacking. Felt exactly like my old GPz500, all revs and no power! But the bike feels relaxed and gentle...perfect for the odd bimble. Not as bad as I thought it would be. The handling feels better as there is no power to upset it. |

still would prefer the full version lol, but saying that if you were restricted, even just bimbling around on a pointy SV would still look pretty sharp
i had to have the lowers on mine though i really think they finish the bike off ( thats my ten pence on the matter anyway ) i think it looks half done otherwise. ![]() |

Definitely half done. I've got lowers on both mine. They just look odd when they are off for servicing work.

Jimmy, your a top bloke for doing this for the other lad.
My bike is 33bhp, and its still alright! Dont bother revving it, just keep it between 4k and 8k rpm! It'll see oyu good until you can take out those restrictors. Oh, beware the engine braking ![]() Matt |

I have sold the bike to Scottishrawker. The lad is only 18 so had to have the bike 33bhp'd. I live near Cupar Suzuki so it would be no trouble to get it sorted. He pays of course!!!
![]() I rode the bike there in typical wet, cold damp, rainy Fife day and had to watch the throttle to keep it wheels down. On the way back it was fun because no power meant no worries in the slippy conditions. It has certainly improved the wet weather handling. The bike has lost any snap it had so it would probably bore me to tears on a nice sunny day. But keeps up with traffic...still sounds and shakes like a V-Twin too. |
