OEM, Barrnet are the next best, they had a bad batch of springs a while ago, i complained and they sent me a free set and they explained it was due to a problem they've had with the plating process

I've heard of people using 3 stiffer Barnett springs and 3 OEM, but tbh I see no need, the OEM stuff is more than enough to deal with an SV's power output so why make the action heavier?

Yep a full barnett kit is just too heavy and does your hand in, every few months i have have trouble for a day or two with the tendons on my left wrist because of it. I will eventualy change them back, but i need to get another OEM set as my old ones were way under spec.

Have had very very good feedback on them from peeps racing in the states. 70% lighter than stock plates so less mass to move which will help the engine to spin up quicker. I have a set for my racebike which are going in Friday...if you call them..ask for Reggie...a currently broken ![]() |
