Cool

I've just been promoted to Senior fire warden for the building at work so I get to go on the advanced fire safety course soon.

I did a basic BMMC marshal course a few years ago and got to put out burning cars.

I like fire (MURRWAHAHAHAHAHAHA !!!)

We had a fire drill yesterday - what a treat for all the new wardens they've just appointed and trained up. Lots of yellow jackets everywhere all of a sudden (after we all sat and waited the obligatory 60 seconds to see if the damn noise would stop first) with the p1llock for our section of the building shouting for everone to use the main stairs. When I asked him why we could not use the fire escape which was five paces behind him he actually said "Oh, I didn't know there was one over there." FFS!!!!!

It was f***in hot! Mostly due to the steam given off when extinguishing the fire. My kit began to smoke after a while. We had protective covers for the helmets ( seen as black ) as they melt after a while.

Was at Avonmouth training centre near Portishead.
