Default hello from Dorset

hi everyone, just joined, havent got an sv ....yet!!

just looked at a lovely blue 03 plate one.. but being female and just over 5 ft, i was struggling to reach the floor , heard that you can lower them, anyone on here done that?

on the otherhand, jumped on a w reg yellow older style one, and can reach the floor .

had my heart set on the newer one though, is it just cosmetic changes between these two, any advice is much appeciated

SQUEAK.

Loosely translated means Hello.

Samnooska is 5ft and has one of the lowest SV's. We both have 05 black SV's

Mine is just almost as low due to having a more scooped out seat. I had dogbones done and forks dropped through the yokes.

Howdy and welcome.

You just looked at the best and fastest version of the sv650 (blue and pointy).

You can get a lower seat for them (keep an eye out on fleabay) and you can also lower the back end if the seat doesn't drop it enough.

Not too hard to do from what i've heard!

Regards

Howdy pardner and welcome, you can get just about any bike lowered these days, I know being somewhat vertically challenged myself.
