Default Recommend a hugger?

Can anyone recommend a hugger for my K5?

Don't want one which is cheap & nasty, but is it worth paying the extra ££££ to get the genuine suzuki one?

Cheers!

I have a OEM Suzuki one, and it's great!

Pricey though for a bit of plastic, should be others that are cheaper but just as good.

Red Fox carbon for me. They offer a discount if you tell them you are registered on here too, and they definitely fit a K5 as they remodelled after I pointed out the differences between a K3 & K5.

If I recall correctly it's 10%, I can't remember for definite though. Their customer service I found to be excellent too, so my being cheeky and getting a discount was a bonus!

I have had a Suzuki one, and so has my better half, they have both cracked and fallen a part around the mountings

If you buy one, then try to find one that has rubber mounting points.

Mine has done this! I thought it was due to bashing into the left hand Renegade can when two up.... (Although I'm sure this did not help!)

What hugger you got now Viney?

I've got a Genuine Suzuki one, and can't get it to fit come hell or high water! Is there a particular order the nuts should go in, or will any do? I've got a K5 model, and even after ordering a fitting kit from ESB, they sent me the wrong fittinf nuts! Not impressed!

We've got a curvy so not particularly relevant, but we had a Red Fox hugger that cracked, but liked the fit of it so much we bought another and Pete has used some stainless shiny penny washers to spread the load and so far so good.
