Binned it (AGAIN!!!)

Okay so on my way home yesterday it started to rain a little, thought nothing of it and adjusted my riding for it as usuall, almost home coming up to a roundabout, front break gently squeezed and down i go and skidded under a stationary car. . . ouch. . . only thing i can put it to is a great F**K off diesel slick that was under me when i got up.
got the bike up and my gear lever end was gone as was my left hand side indicators are gone too as was my clutch lever end, i had to use my heel to shift whilst plodding home @ 20 MPH
im pretty bruised up but otherwise okay.
If anyone has a spare

• clutch lever,
• gear lever,
• and brake lever

that i can purchase for A K5 POINTY ? ? ?

Oh mate sorry to hear that. Glad you're ok. Sometimes you just can't see the slicks on the roads. what a bummer. Good luck with the bits.

sorry to hear this matey, the roads are greasy after that dry spell we just had, as for diesel WELL? that stuffs great in a diesel car but not so good on roads.

********, sorry to hear about that mate...although by the parts description it doesn't sound like *too* much damage has been done to the bike?

Sometimes the smaller slicks are easier to spot 'cos they stand out in contrast, and if you aren't lucky enough to smell it

Sorry to here about your off. Roads are always worse after a longish dry spell.

Tip: Try and use a lower gear and use the engine braking together with forward planning. May not ever need to use the brakes then. Also using the rear gives a warning if the road is a bit slick and the resultant slide is usually recoverable.

Bummer - its really cr*p when you come off without actually doing anything wrong.

I took a ride down to Cheddar yesterday - very windy but only mishap was losing the back end doing a right turn at a T junction. The road was poor nick, pot holes etc but I kept the bike up somehow. No bike damage just a perculiar niff when I got to cheddar and unzipped the leathers!!! As I said it was a very very windy day
