convertible owners
is there any reason why all of them are on their mobile?!
drove past an mG(IRL) TF today with some guy -roof down - mobile on, filtered up to his window- clutch in, throttle wide open, horn blaring! he dropped his phone! woo! was a small victory until he came past when i stopped at the lights 10 mins later still on his phone

Ahh, but having the top down makes it easier for you to reach in a flick the phone out of their hand...
... hopefully into the street where you then run over it!

Just grab the phone and put it on the windscreen near the wipers as you pull off, they love that!!
Not that I have done that before at the lights

I'd never drive whilst using my phone & I have a soft top. Other than any safety implications, you can't hear anything when you get up a bit of speed so it would be pointless!
