Howdy all,
Fitted my braided lines at the weekend and was really struggling to bleed up the front. Eventually noticed one of the banjo bolts weeping - and on closer inspection there seemed to be a crack in the head of the bolt. I took the bolt out and it is fractured\cracked along it's full length - very very not good ![]() I've now put the standard bolt back in and emailed HEL regarding it,so just waiting for a response. Anyone else had or heard of this before? I'm sure it is just a one off manufacturing error - but still, it's potentially a very serious problem. I'll update with their reply.

You might get a quicker response if you phone them.
My own experience of HEL customer support is very good. |

I used to work in metallurgy and what HEL say is totally true, and outside of the machinists control (without ridiculously high testing). Nobody to blame really, just one of those rare faults in the manufacturing process.

lucky strike, buy a big syringe... I hate bleeding brakes but the big syringe method makes it child's play.
Disclaimer: Do not let your children play with brake fluid or big syringes.

On Ebay - about a fiver I think - 2x syringes and lengths of hose.
(New bolts not turned up yet either).
