True, but I struggle to hear people talking when I have my lid and earplugs on

I wonder if it works on the same prinicple as my daughter's digital hearing aid - filters out the background noise, so she can hear the speech more clearly

Ooooh, I need something like that - my mid-range hearing's a tad on the 'dodgy ol' fart' side. Too many years working in nightclubs and riding without earplugs I s'pose.
