Default Black curvy sv650 2000 W reg, £1550. In Bristol area.

Sale Of Suzuki SV650s, W Registration Candy Grand Black.

For sale is a 2000 W registration sv650s in Candy Grand black. I have owned this bike for about one and three quarter years now and it has been a much loved trusty steed as well as a fun ride.

For the first year and a half it was used to travel to university and temporary work placements, as well as for fun riding. In this time it only did about 4000 miles, however when I started working full time I had to use it to commute and have put a further 4000miles on rather quickly.

The bike has not been used for the last month as I have got myself a car and cannot afford to keep the bike as well. I recently took the front brake callipers off and gave them a clean, as well as giving the whole bike a good wash and polish.

The bike has the Suzuki Smart water, as have all Suzuki’s.

The SV650s makes an ideal 1st bike, easy & fun to ride, and with a good seat height for short and tall. The 650 V twin provides good mid range punch, with a good top end performance.

It is at home bumbling to & from work, a weekend blast, or even a track day at a push; these bikes are very highly rated by many riders.

These bikes have the usual Japanese reliability and viewing is welcome.

The bike will be supplied with V5, manuals, 2 keys, smart water docs, some receipts and some previous tax, basically everything relevant that I have for it. This includes some service history.

The previous owner had a friend who worked for Bikes Direct in Bristol who serviced it for him. I have a friend who has worked for various garages in Bristol including wheel torque and Unity road Motorcycles, and he has helped me with the up keep of this bike.

The Good Points.

HPI clear.

The bike has a tool kit included.

The bike has been well cared for and had regular oil and filter changes. The spark plugs were replaced about 3000 miles ago along with the air filter.

Free race can thrown in, not the best condition but sounds lovely, quite loud. It is a home made short can, originally a Scorpion. Not for road use. Also not for road use is a smaller number plate which is again thrown in free.

The brakes had new fluid about 3000 miles ago, and the callipers had new seals etc at the same time, done by a garage. Receipts for this are present. They also all had new pads at this time, which still have loads of life left.

Carbon yoke protector and tank protector.

It has an extended front mudguard.

Sound battery, regularly attached to an Optimate charger to check its condition.

It had a replacement regulator/rectifier last summer.

Fairly recent tyres, Pirelli Diablo Stradas. Very good tyres, long lasting and good grip in the dry and wet. Basically the same tyre as the Metzler Z6.

Upgraded light bulbs to give brighter light, I believe they were osprey bulbs, but it was last summer it was done and I cant remember exactly what they were.

I have always put the super unleaded petrol in, not the normal stuff.

The Bad Points.

There is some pitting on the forks and the front of the down pipe. This happens on every sv650 and cannot be avoided.

The bike has been down on the left side previous to my owning it, it has some grazing on the left and centre fairing and the screen, and a very tiny ding in the tank. Also the gear lever has had to be repaired with a bolt. I have a replacement gear lever which will be included.

It has done approximately 23,257miles.

The under tray is a little tatty and the hugger has a nick out of it on the left hand rear edge.

Extras.

Included with the bike will be a spares box which has a few items in it, including indicators, a small number plate and other miscellaneous things.

I have a few extras that will be available only to the buyer at extra cost, these will be:

-Givi Mono key luggage rack and top box,

-Oxford hot hands wrap around grips,

-Handle bar muffs,

-Haynes manual,

-Optimate charger.

I'm very interested in this, especially at that price. Been looking for a curvy SV650S in black. How far from Temple Meads are you?

Yep I think it was.

Silent I've passed the details of your bike to a mate of my brothers who's just passed his test and is after a black curvey, you may or may not get a phone call about it.

it certainly was monkey's (aka ruperts) bike previous to myself. still have the small number plate with monkey sv650.or written on it.

Thanks for the advertising fizzwheel, and the positive comments about the previous history of the bike.
