Default Camera Question

420 bullet cam with solid state recorder for £190, or 480 cam with same recorder for £230?

The solid state recorder I'm looking at is the Mobibox from dogcamsport. Is the difference from 420 to 480 worth the extra £40?

I run a std Panasonic camcorder mounted on the tenk using a Sportsbike mount. Works for me.

I've sort of played about with this too, I made a mount up out of wood & strapped my dad's camcorder (huge monolithic thing) to the tank.

I wasn't keen on the fact it stops you laying on the tank, and also I want to be able to helmet mount or mount to the bike, whatever I feel like on the day.

Really dunno I'm afraid. Let us know how you get on with it though as I've always been tempted; new 'zorst or camera system - both realistically rather pointless but I'm drawn to shiny things like a magpie

EDIT: talking of 'zorsts - you've got a high level scorp can haven't you? Am I correct in believing you can keep the pillion pegs? (the missus would still like to come out and play occasionally). And what about the indicators - need a tailtidy to relocate?

Why would you want to pay on the tank....unless for sleeping

I see your point, and thats cool. Mine works for me.
