Ta toady!

Ok, i'll add a bit more. Vernas Aunt who lives in S.Africa is coming to Switzerland for 10 days, and its going to be darn site cheaper to see her there than SA, hence the reason for the trip.

I go there a couple of times a year, Trains work once you get your head round the numbering scheme/time table etc.

Beyond that as Toad said. In my case nothing to see but rail track.

BTW, the beer is strangely drinkable. But that won't bother you will it.

Enjoy the choccy

Theres a lake with steamers on it that aunties would like IIRC. And I only passed by one time.
There may be other places you can easily get to within an hour or so by train. Or lake constance if you hire a car.

Mr.Winey I am not believing this is for family reasons, I thinking something much more sinister be happen. Aunt in question be smuggle out diamonds and be hand them to you in Zurich.

I feel it only to be right inform Interpol to be watching your movingments. If you slip through their net we be watching for your thread anouncing " MY NEW BIKE!"

Yes, it is the easiest way into central Zurich. There is a railway station within the airport. The booking clerks all speak English and simply ask for a ticket to Zurich HB. It is about a 7 minute journey, they are extremely punctual.

The platform numbering at Zurich can be a little confusing. Buses, you are best buying a pass if there a couple of days. look at http://timetable.sbb.ch/bin/05/query-p2w.exe/en? for timetables, you can even download them to your pda etc.
