Ok, looks like im off to Zurich for a weekend in July. Anyone been?
I know its not cheap etc, but need to find somewhere to stay, near the train station would be good. Whats to see? Any tips etc? Cheers |

![]() ![]() Ok, i'll add a bit more. Vernas Aunt who lives in S.Africa is coming to Switzerland for 10 days, and its going to be darn site cheaper to see her there than SA, hence the reason for the trip. |

I go there a couple of times a year, Trains work once you get your head round the numbering scheme/time table etc.
Beyond that as Toad said. In my case nothing to see but rail track. BTW, the beer is strangely drinkable. But that won't bother you will it. Enjoy the choccy

Theres a lake with steamers on it that aunties would like IIRC. And I only passed by one time.
There may be other places you can easily get to within an hour or so by train. Or lake constance if you hire a car. |
