Datatool snitcher alarm

Has any one any experience of these, they look pretty cool and instead of going off like a conventional alarm they will text you to inform you of movement, attempted theft etc. Ideal for me as my garage is down the road so wouldn't hear the alarm any way. Wiring is easy too, just three wires, one permanent live, one swithed live (ignition) and an earth. They work on orange pre-pay sim.

only possible issues could be 1) running out of credit 2)no signal in certain areas or a 3) thief wrapping tin foil gently around the bike before nicking it.

1 + 2 can be avoided by keeping it topped up and checking coverage of areas normally parked first. 3) well...

I've got a custom made tracker on my bike, more for piece of mind than anything else. I doubt it's really worth it if it's locked up in your garage at night.

Shotgun cartridge rigged up to a trip wire on the bike is what you want!!
