hey guys as you know the sv650 2000 model tells you only when the engine gets really hot but does not tell you when it is heated enough any ready to go. can someone tell me how much should i let it on max gas so the engine is heated enough and it is ready to go?

Ready to go as in start your journey? I'd say the time it takes to put your lid on. Ready to go as in warmed up to give it some welly - probably no more than a mile.
EDIT: wouldn't give it max gas from cold in an attempt to warm it up to be honest - think that's likely to hurt under-lubricated little metal bits |

I stick mine on the choke for a bit(30 seconds ish - sometimes never cos its already warm) full choke until it goes above 3000 revs, then i consider it warm enough to go. Give it a mile or so to get the tyres warmish, then open it up nicely.
