TT Crash

Heard this on the BBC news, very saddening. My thoughts go out to the families of those who died.

Motorsport is dangerous people, take care whether you spectate or participate.

Apparently, there was a crahs today in the mountainous section of the TT.

Rider & two spectators killed.

Condolences to their families. RIP.

not good to hear but it does happen every year at IOM.

Ah crap...what a shame, but as Baph said it happens with regularity and I suppose is an accepted risk/part of the draw of the event.

However, I can't remember hearing of spectators dying before though I'm sure it has happened at some point. Anyone know for certain? Because that to me makes it a lot worse (not that one life is worth more than another) because the rider was aware of what can happen. I won't be surprised to read/hear of clamours for closing the event as usual though.
