Anyone else not able to work today because of the weather?
Can't fit doulbe glazing in the ****ing rain! Sent home on full pay

MY wife is stuck in traffic trying to get to Leeds, she left here at 8:30 this morning. You can guess it's the weather and people who don't know how to drive in it that is causing the problems.

Just checked the forcast and more of the same tomorrow

Doh, i hope not, got a 170 mile ride home tomorrow and it broke down on me in the rain on friday ah well, all ads to the fun!

There's a lot of people in the Don Valley in Sheffield stuck at work overnight because of the rain - some poor lad was also swept away by the raging River Sheaf (normally a sedate stream) just down the road from me in Millhouses Park... bad day in Steel City...

Sounds like a pukka job to me...you must only work 40 days a year

I work from home, so the weather doesnt directly affect me, I do however prefer it when its warm so I can spend all the time I would be surfing the web, topping up my tan instead!
